Through the veil of memory /Atraves del velo del recuerdo. Eng/Esp. #monomad Challenge

Hello friends, how are you doing? I don't know if this has ever happened to you, but you're on your way somewhere and you see a group of young people on the street and suddenly you feel nostalgic for your friends from that age.

These are my images to participate in the #monomad contest of @brumest and @monochromes.

A few days ago, I was walking along the Paseo del Prado with my good friend @muhammadhalim, camera in hand, trying to take some photos of the cars passing by a puddle in front of the Hotel Telégrafo, when suddenly a young girl stopped in front of me and, with the freshness of her youth, said, "Oh, please take a photo of me here." I laughed and told her to stay right there, and clicked.

I tell her to come and see the photo, she laughs out loud and says to her friends, "What a gentleman, how cute!" She continues walking, laughing, until she reaches her friends, who are also laughing. She barely saw the image between the sun and the fact that it simply wasn't important to her how it turned out. What amuses us at that age is mischief.

We continued along the Prado, trying to capture new stories with our camera, when suddenly we heard laughter. On one of the benches, a group of young people in school uniforms were chatting and laughing, and now they were shouting in unison, "Take a picture of the group!" And there we were, street photographers, taking their portraits.

Everyone is happy, and we continue to pursue new stories. I look back and see through the veil of memory Elsa, Liliana, Damian, other friends, and myself on a random afternoon a few years ago.

VERSIÓN EN ESPAÑOL

Hola amigos , como les va?, no sé si les ha pasado que van de camino a cualquier lugar y se encuentran a un grupo de jóvenes por la calle y de pronto les da nostalgia por sus amigos de esa edad.

En días pasados caminaba por el Paseo del Prado con mi buen amigo @Muhammadhalim cámara en mano mientras intentabamos hacer unas fotos a los autos que pasaban cerca de un charco frente al Hotel Telégrafo, de pronto se para frente a mi una jovencita y desde la frescura de sus años me dice "ayyy por favor tírame una foto aquí" , yo río y le digo quédate ahí mismo y click.

Le digo ven para que veas la foto, ella ríe a carcajadas y le dice a sus amigos "caballero que lindaaa" , ella sigue en su andar riendo hasta llegar donde le esperan igualmente sus amigos riendo, apenas vió la imagen entre el sol y que simplemente para ella no era importante como quedó, lo que nos divierte a esa edad es la travesura.

Nosotros continuamos por el Prado tratando de captar con nuestro lente nuevas historias y de repente escuchamos las risas, en unos de los bancos estaban los jóvenes en sus uniformes de escuela conversando, riendo y ahora es un coro a voces, "tiranos una foto al grupo" y ahí estábamos nosotros de fotógrafos callejeros haciéndoles retratos.

Todos felices, nosotros seguimos tras nuevas historias, yo miro atrás y veo atraves del velo del recuerdo a Elsa, Liliana, Damian, a otros amigos y a mí misma una tarde cualquiera unos años atrás.
