Wintery walk

My daughter stopped over yesterday morning on her way for a snowy walk in the woods. The sun was shining and temperatures would begin dropping later in the day, so she decided it would be the best opportunity to get out and enjoy the forest.

When my kids were growing up we lived in the forest so they were able to go out the back door and go for a hike no matter what the season was, and they grew up with an appreciation of nature.
There was even a perfect hill so that they could go sledding and snowboarding.
Now she lives in town and must drive to areas where she can be outdoors in natural areas, but she remembered to take photos so that we could enjoy her walk, too.

She even remembered to take a few Shadow photos. I'm saving a couple for cover photos for the Shadow contest.

White tail deer have also been walking there, too.
