WHEN I DISCOVERED AQUARELLE I DISCOVERED ME

To all the artists out there, hope you are all well.
A few years ago a friend asked me to do this commission illustrations for her masters.
We decided to try out watercolor and she bought me my first block of cotton paper. Which by the way turned out to be the best out there and is seriously hard to come by now days (canson moulin du roy) and my first little aquarelle palet, which I still use, although some colors needed to be refilled.

After the first ''work'' that I had to do, there came a day I finally had an opportunity to try something on my own. Dear hivers I fell in love just like I fell in love with the ocean when I first saw it.

Tis was a diptych I did then and still have a really emotional bond to it.
