Divide the para into 2-3 sub-para in your mind basing on the context. Then memorize those lines.

For instance, suppose you are reading a paragraph on Industrial revolution. So, first, memorize 2-3 lines about the definition. Then memorize next 2-3 lines about the causes. Next 2-3 lines should be about the effects it had on society. Next 2-3 lines should be about may be about the disadvantages of such revolution.
