The Greatest Showman
Tonight I took my mom and twin nieces to see The Greatest Showman in theaters. This was the second time I saw it and it was still incredible!
I think it was actually better the second time around because I knew the songs and the story so I was able to focus on the little details that I missed the first time around.
Why I liked it?
As a dance teacher I have a huge appreciation for good music and dancing and this movie was no let down there. Incredibly upbeat and at-the-edge-of-your-seat choreography.
More than that though, I enjoyed the message of the story. That money doesn't buy happiness and isn't everything. Happiness doesn't come from fame but from those around you and your experiences together.
My favorite quote from the movie said by one of the lead characters, Charity, "You don’t need the whole world to love you. Just a few good people.” I don't think there's a lesson much more important than this one.
If you've seen it, what did you think?
