Just finished, rewatched all of season 1 and then watched season 2 in 2 day 🥲

Animation, music….etc were incredible. For me this season is a 9-10/10 with a caveat.

There some parts of the season where it almost felt as if an episode was missing, and then there was the ending. For me the ending was rushed, I do like the ideas within the episode and how character arcs played out but it felt like it needed to be a 2 part episode it felt like a break neck sprint to the end, which wasn’t all that satisfying or bittersweet.

The pacing was all over the place, and while the final battle was cool, the reason behind it was extremely rushed. Was not a fan of how they handled Vi, Mel and Caitlyn this season, but at least Jayce and Viktor got the best parts, I guess. Jinx and Ekko were fine too.

I like the directions the characters ended up but it need an ep or two more to make the journey to those destinations make more sense. For example viktor change to antagonist was quite abrupt, also Catylins change to “facist” Catylins was cool but wasn’t given enough to to breathe for her reversal to this and her reversal back to being “good”. Her turn seems justifiable cause Ambessa was preying on her, however her switch back to good it would have been nice to see her struggle .

Feels like they took a 2 season and shoved it into 1 season. Which for sort of works for arc 1, 2 and first ep arc 3, but the ending doesn’t stick the landing and feels quite disappointing tbh.
