Fishing in Alaska
Went fishing yesterday in beautiful Prince William Sound in Alaska.
We set out around 7am from Whittier, Alaska and headed towards Montague Island:
(thanks google maps)
I captured all of these with my iphone:
Yes the seas were very calm.
Me with halibut I caught
Ladies with their rockfish, great eating.
Nick with his rockfish and my halibut.
And the total of our days work. The little black and yellow one is a China Rockfish. I ate it tonight for dinner, amazing!!!
It was a great day, although long, but always fun.
And for those of you worried about over fishing, please note that Alaska Department of Fish and Game are some of the best managers in the world and will close fishing down for commercial and sport whenever it is required.
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the photos of Alaska.
Please let me know if you would like to more like this as Alaska is certainly a special place.
