Shifts in Mood

‎We’re back to school today! 🥰

‎And Ryzen was in a good and happy mood. 🤗
‎

‎Classes started with their meal.
‎

‎
‎The assigned parents cooked misua soup with vegetables. Ryzen doesn't want to eat. He took just 2 or 3 spoons, then pushed it away. I just let him. I’m now learning more and more to understand him, instead of wishing he’d be where I think he should be.
‎
‎After that, it was time for their activities.
‎
‎The first one was a matching activity. They needed to connect Mommy A to her matching baby A.
‎


‎
‎Ryzen got it right away. He's too fast, as he picked up the instruction easily. He finished before many of his classmates.
‎
‎Next up was an art activity. This time, they will color all the things that start with the letter A.
‎

‎
‎At first he's coloring happily… but when it's time for the arrow, he didn’t want to finish. Even posing for a photo, he turned away. 🙄 He's not in the mood again. Hayyy… I know him so well now. 🥲
‎
‎So, instead of insisting or feeling frustrated, I just smiled and let him go. I walked him over to Ma’am Irma to pass the last activity... and that was the end of their class.
‎
‎This is what motherhood is... raising our little ones and loving them every moment.
‎
