Today, we're going to have another look at creating and developing characters. In this post, we looked at using dialogue to create characters. Today, we are going to imagine ourselves as a character.

PILONCIO

Under the dim light that accompanies the dark night, sitting watching the sky is Piloncio, analyzing the stars wondering how he could become part of them.

Piloncio was a man of about 45 years old, plump, his pale skin that made him look like a corpse, his face was stamped with bitterness, the one that caused him the fact that his wife left him, to leave that town with a unknown man and whom everyone said seemed not to be from this planet.

It was common to observe Piloncio sitting in any corner of his house, pensive, in the most overwhelming of silences, since he was a child his teachers said that he was somewhat crooked and reserved, which made him become the weirdo in the room.

When he reached 19 years of age, he fell in love with the young daughter of the maid and her father, fulfilling one more of his whims, forced her to marry him.

Despite the fact that his father gave him how much he wanted, he could never buy him happiness, he was hardly ever seen to laugh, the only expression on his face was that of an empty being, eaten away by rage.

Piloncio, despised everyone in the town, felt that they were inferior beings to him, not only because of his economic condition, but also because he felt superior.

One afternoon while he was sitting in his garden looking at nothing and immersed in the most decadent of silences, he watched as a little girl approached him through the gate asking for some bread, this managed to get Piloncio out of his reverie, he stared to the little girl, and with his strong and harsh voice he said:

"Maybe you don't have parents to feed you, I'm not a public charity, stop nagging and get out."

The little girl, far from being scared, looked at him with the sweetest of looks, saying:

"My parents was died, I have no family, but what do you have, because you are not happy, your face, although chubby, reflects sadness."

Piloncio exploded with anger, his face reddened, he wanted to break the fence to take the little girl and give her two good spankings, he did not understand how someone so inferior to him dared to even speak to him, much less in the way she did, so he stood up from the chair and holding his leg because of the pain he felt as a result of a strange scar that appeared without any explanation, he shouted to the little girl: "Get out of here"

The little girl, far from being scared, stared at him and yelling at everything her little body gave, she said:
"Embittered, they left you for an alien, they left you ugly", the girl ran like a soul that the devil carries a little scared but full of laughter and laughter, while Piloncio fell on his knees to the ground crying, cursing a thousand times the having taught his wife how to communicate with beings from another planet.
