Under the Pleasure Tree
Tall trees, smiling trees
Welcome their guests.
Standing
In threes and fours,
Students chew the fat.
Some make their calls
And talk to friends.
Many have worked,
Dog-tired.
A few, lazy bones,
Roam about.
Groups of girls
Groups of boys
Mixed groups.
I stand with Julie,
My lovely Julie,
Black and beauty!
We are here again,
To give the campus
It's life.
