Cheering each others products and startups
Getting a product into retail is sometimes really hard and time-consuming. Has someone you know managed that? This is how you can make a difference for them as a friend:
- Next time you see your friend's product in a store, share it on stories/social media and tag them and the store. You have no idea how much this will mean for your friend.
- Ask the person that works in the store if they can tell you anything about the product. If they can, awesome let your friend know so that they know they are doing a good job. If the staff at the store cant, let your friend know that they should look into creating better EEP (Employee engagement programs) to train the staff about their brand in the retailers they are in. Now you are acting as a free mystery shopper saving your founder friend a lot of work.
Trough out the days, we share so much stuff on social media. Why not share your friend's startup? It will mean so much to them, and it will take you so little time. Load up yourself with good karma and do a nice thing for your entrepreneur friends.
