Splinterlands Hype Will It Ever Make a Comeback?

I was resetting some of my card prices and was looking at my past purchases and noticed majority of the prices where I had purchased the cards are now down more than 90%. This is very similar to my stake in Hive and other altcoins if not worse. The sad part is we may likely continue to see lower prices from here as there does not seem to be enough new demand to push prices up.

On the flip side the conversion from DEC to core crypto ecosystem token Hive is again on the rise. This is due to mostly the drop in value of Hive relative to dollar. The boom for higher DEC value has yet to arrive but for now its worth noting it is worth more than many core crypto tokens.

I am pondering if I should swap into Hive and HP to accumulate core tokens in hopes that the token would appreciate and swap back into more DEC to purchase more Splinterlands assets. The plan is to stack more Splinterlands assets is my main goal, but reality is long term holding has hurt more than gain. The pain to hold just hoping for a turn to the positive is not profitable at all.
