The straw hat king_Realistic characters remade

After a long time, it was also my turn. That moment that every artist, sooner or later, faces: redoing one's own work a few years later. I chose to remake "Monkey D Luffy" (protagonist of the manga "One Piece") not only because I am still following both the anime and the manga, but also because after reviewing my old work (which was rather disturbing and technically limited by my skills at the time ) the curiosity of how it would look remade now was just too much not to indulge it.

Although the differences are quite obvious, I recognize that it still has flaws, imperfections, and great room for improvement. Yes, it has been 3 years since I made the first version, and in those 3 years I have grown a lot, both as a person and as an artist. I have studied, tried, failed, tried again and tried again. I have learned new techniques and refined the ones I already knew. I am really happy with the result of this work, but I will definitely not be satisfied with that, I will always try to improve, and one day, maybe, I will try again to do it again!

This project is now available on NFT Showroom, with a size of 2480x3500. It is a project that has amused and intrigued me in all aspects of its realisation and I hope you can appreciate it.
