The Church of Lucifer was founded by the Reverend Robert Stills, roughly in 1980. The Church was formerly called the Order of the Chest and Temple of Shaitan. Stills was supposedly the 22nd generation of Ordered High Priests. Before dying of cancer, Rev. Stills, High Priest of the Church of Lucifer, named Reverend Frederik Nagash the 28th High Priest of the American generation, being the current leader of this denomination in 1996. According to what they say is an expert in Magic Black, with the knowledge of Kabbalah, chaotic magic, luciferic magic, satanic magic, necromancy, hermeticism, goethia, etc.
