Why Does Evil Exist in the World?// Mcgi Topic Review ( part 4)

When God created the universe, everything He made was perfect, beautiful, and full of goodness. The world was designed to overflow with love, joy, and peace. However, things changed when Satan was cast out of heaven. Darkness entered creation, and from that moment, evil began to influence the hearts of people. This influence has pushed many to turn away from God’s commandments and the principles He established for our well-being. Even though Jesus Christ came to save humanity, evil still exists because the hearts of men continue to struggle with sin.

Just as the Bible describes what happened to Job, God sometimes allows us to go through challenging moments or encounter evil situations. These experiences are not meant to destroy us but to test and strengthen our faith. God is never the author of wickedness, yet He permits certain trials so that His power and glory may be revealed in our lives. We must always remember that God will never allow us to face more than we are capable of enduring. His strength is made perfect in our weakness.

Even though evil seems to surround our world today, believers are called to stand firm and resist it. We must make intentional efforts to avoid sinful acts and distance ourselves from anything that can draw us away from God. Doing so protects us from the consequences of sin and keeps us aligned with God’s will. Evil persists because of the fallen nature of humanity, but we are not helpless. By staying close to God, reading His word, and living according to His guidance, we can overcome the negativity around us. In all things, we should strive to remain faithful so that the evils present in the world will not take hold of our lives.
