Is there protection for Sinners?//Mcgi Topic Review ( part 2)

Even though a person may live in sin, it is important to understand that Christians can also fall into sin at times, and servants of God are not exempt from making mistakes. However, someone who deliberately lives a sinful lifestyle in rebellion against God cannot truly be called a follower of Christ. Yet, such people still enjoy certain blessings and protection from God.

Jesus explained this in Matthew 5:45, saying that God causes His sun to rise on both the evil and the good and sends rain on both the righteous and the unrighteous. In other words, God's goodness extends to all humanity. When the sun shines, everyone benefits from its warmth and light. When rain falls, it nourishes the fields and crops of both believers and unbelievers alike. This is an expression of God's mercy and care for all people.

The question then arises: Is God protecting us?

The answer is yes, but God's protection can be viewed in different ways. There is a general protection and provision that all people experience simply because God sustains life on earth. However, there is also a special kind of protection reserved for those who obey Him and walk according to His will.

Those who follow God's commandments are protected in many ways through His Word. The teachings of Jesus Christ guide believers away from corruption, deception, and the destructive influences of the world. Through obedience to God's instructions, people are preserved from many dangers that result from sinful living.

As stated in 2 Peter 2:20, those who have escaped the corruption of the world through the knowledge of Jesus Christ but later become entangled in it again find themselves in a worse condition than before. This shows the importance of remaining faithful to God's teachings.

Through the knowledge of Christ and the practice of His Word, believers are empowered to overcome the moral pollution of the world and enjoy the spiritual protection that comes from walking closely with God.
