Is prayer Enough to move closer to God?

Prayer is not too enough to move closer to God because when you're pray must act for prayer you're pray what are the action you must take, firstly you must have faith in God because without faith all your prayers is in vain, according to the Bible says faith without work is dead faith.

When you're ask God for something you must also work because our God is not a magician, you're asking God for blessings and you don't have any job you're doing such prayer won't be answered because you don't take action to find job that can blessings you with, God does bless a lazy People because Bible also confirmed it that you must work.

According to the book of (Matt, 7:7) says. Ask, and it shall be given to you, seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. According to this Bible verse it telling us that when we ask anything from God, next we must do is to seek maybe you don't have job, or you're battling with financial stability Bible says seek and after that you shall find Bible is not saying ask and sleep at home, that shows you must work, so after you seek and you found what you're seeking for that's when you have a right to knock after you knock that's when the doors of blessings will continue to open for everything you lay your hands upon.

According to bro Eli's sermon he said that you ask God to give me my daily bread and you're staying in your room all day. Who will give your daily bread and ask the bread to fall down from heaven? No things do not work like that, you must work.
