Dealing with Depressed Teens// Mcgi Topic Review (part 1)
Greetings everyone, I welcome you all to my blog.
It's another great day to listen to the word of God by his servant Bro Eli Soriano.
There is often frustration when parents fail to give their children the proper guidance and discipline they need. As Bro. Eli emphasized, children should not be trained carelessly or according to personal opinions, but according to the way of the Lord.
The Bible clearly teaches this principle in Proverbs 22:6, which says, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” This scripture instructs parents on how to raise their children correctly. It points us to the right path the way of the Lord and assures us that when children are trained in this manner, they will remain on that path even as they grow older.
This verse reminds us that godly training is intentional and purposeful. Training a child in the way he or she should go means teaching them God’s ways, values, and instructions so that they can make wise decisions throughout life. When this foundation is laid early, it becomes a guiding light that keeps them from straying.
According to Bro. Eli, proper training is not something that happens overnight. It is not a one-day task but a continuous and gradual process. The true results of this effort become evident over time, as the child’s character, behavior, and choices reflect the lessons they have been taught.
Training a child in the way of the Lord helps them understand what is right, when to do it, and how to act responsibly. On the other hand, when a child is neglected and not properly guided, the Bible warns of the consequences. Proverbs 17:25 states that “A foolish son is a grief to his father, and bitterness to her that bears him.” Such a child becomes a source of sorrow and constant frustration to the parents.
In conclusion, parents are encouraged to consistently train their children in the way they should go the way of the Lord. Doing so not only benefits the child but also brings peace, joy, and fulfillment to the parents.
