Espero estén disfrutando de un agradable día, el día de hoy quiero compartir con ustedes la confección de un gorro para mantener el cabello recogido, de esos que utilizan los trabajos para seguridad, acompáñame y te comparto el paso a paso:

I hope you're having a wonderful day. Today, I want to share with you how to make a hairnet, the kind used in workplace safety. Join me as I share the step-by-step instructions:

Mi hija, en su trabajo le exigen utilizar este tipo de gorros para mantener su cabello controlado, ya que esta es una empresa de alimentos, allí le dieron solamente uno, así que me pidió que le hiciera otro gorrito de estos para alternar el que tiene, le pregunté si no importaba la tela, ya que tenía unos retazos de una sábana que hice recientemente, y ella me dijo que no importaba, así que manos a la obra, aquí les dejo la lista de materiales a utilizar :

• retazos de tela ( con 1/4 m de tela aproximadamente sale este gorrito)
• tijeras
• Cinta métrica
• Hilo
• Máquina de coser

My daughter is required to wear these types of hairnets at her job to keep her hair under control, since it's a food company. They only gave her one, so she asked me to make her another one to alternate with the one she has. I asked her if the fabric mattered, since I had some scraps from a sheet I recently made, and she said it didn't matter. So, let's get to work! Here's the list of materials you'll need:

• Fabric scraps (approximately 1/4 meter of fabric is enough for this hairnet)
• Scissors
• Measuring tape
• Thread
• Sewing machine

Voy a guiarme con el modelo de gorro que tiene mi hija, lo dibujaré en mi cuaderno de apuntes y luego lo pasaré a la tela, la parte del Centro es como un pequeño óvalo, los lados es casi un rectángulo, sólo que va un poco redondeado en las orillas, y lleva dos tiras para poder atarse y mantener el cabello recogido, luego de dibujarlo, voy cuadrando mis retazos de tela, haciendo cada figura, la figura de los lados, la dibujé un aproximado, y luego la perfeccioné, de alto le di 19 cm para poder hacerle el ruedo.

I'm going to use my daughter's hat pattern as a guide. I'll draw it in my notebook and then transfer it to the fabric. The center part is like a small oval, the sides are almost a rectangle, only slightly rounded at the edges, and it has two straps to tie it and keep the hair up. After drawing it, I'll square up my fabric scraps, making each shape. I drew the shape of the sides approximately, and then perfected it. I made it 19 cm high so I could make the hem.

Luego de dibujar cada figura, voy cortando cada pieza, para las tiras, corté dos tiras de 5 cm de ancho aproximadamente, en total son tres piezas, el óvalo y las dos piezas de los lados y dos para las tiras

After drawing each shape, I cut out each piece. For the strips, I cut two strips approximately 5 cm wide. In total there are three pieces: the oval, the two side pieces, and two for the strips.

En el siguiente paso vamos a comenzar con las costuras, hacemos un pequeño piquete en el centro de la figura de óvalo, luego vamos a unir las dos tiras de los lados. Esta será la parte central, luego vamos uniendo con costura al óvalo del Centro hacia la orilla, en mi caso, el óvalo me quedó un poco largo, pero no están importantes, ya que al final le hacemos un pequeño ruedo y no afectará

In the next step, we'll begin the sewing. We'll make a small snip in the center of the oval shape, then join the two side strips. This will be the central part. Next, we'll sew the oval from the center outwards to the edge. In my case, the oval ended up a little long, but that's not important, since we'll hem it at the end and it won't affect the final result.

Le hacemos ruedo en el otro extremo de la tela de los lados, donde finaliza el óvalo. Allí vamos a agregarle las tiras, dejando los centímetros del ruedo, para las tiras decidí cortar una sola tira a la mitad y hacerlas que me quedaran bien delgadas, ya para finalizar hacemos el doblez en la parte inferior de la tela de los lados, de aproximadamente 1 cm de ancho para el ruedo y así ya está listo este lindo gorro para recoger el cabello

We hem the other end of the side fabric, where the oval ends. There we'll add the strips, leaving the hem allowance. For the strips, I decided to cut a single strip in half and make them very thin. Finally, we fold over the bottom edge of the side fabric, about 1 cm wide, for the hem. And that's it! This cute hair hat is ready.

Sé que ahora mi hija querrá que le haga más gorritos de estos y poder llevar uno diferente cada día a su trabajo, ja ja, ventaja de qué su madre sea costurera ☺️, me encantó la confección de este gorrito es bastante sencilla y quedan muy lindos, espero les haya gustado, eso es todo por hoy amigos, me despido, deseándoles muchas bendiciones, hasta otra oportunidad
