Today I want to share my personal opinion after testing different AI tools for coding, especially comparing Google Gemini and ChatGPT.
From my experience, I feel that Gemini is more skilled when it comes to programming tasks. It tends to give more structured code, clearer logic, and sometimes better solutions for complex problems.
But this is not just my opinion… there is data supporting it.
I found a comparison on Artificial Analysis where different AI models are analyzed based on:
• Intelligence
• Speed
• Latency
• Price
• Context window
According to this analysis:
• Gemini 3.1 Pro Preview is ranked among the highest intelligence models
• It competes directly with top-tier models like GPT-5.4 and Claude Opus
• Gemini models also show very low latency and fast responses, especially in lightweight versions
This explains why, in programming tasks, Gemini sometimes feels faster and more precise.
However, I still think ChatGPT is:
• More versatile
• Better for explanations
• Easier for beginners
So in my opinion:
👉 Gemini = better for coding performance
👉 ChatGPT = better for learning and interaction

When you live in a country lacking opportunities(as mine) and accounts for paid AI trading, free options are the only viable way to keep growing and avoid stagnation. Personally, I'm not discouraged by not being able to do more than I should; AI is advancing, and we must advance with it.

Desde mi experiencia, siento que Gemini es más hábil cuando se trata de programar. Suele dar código más estructurado, con mejor lógica y soluciones más claras para problemas complejos.
Pero no es solo mi opinión… también hay datos que lo respaldan.
Encontré un análisis en Artificial Analysis donde comparan modelos según:

• Precio
• Capacidad de contexto
Según ese análisis:
• Gemini 3.1 Pro Preview está entre los modelos con mayor inteligencia
• Compite con modelos muy avanzados como GPT-5.4 y Claude Opus
• Además, tiene muy baja latencia y respuestas rápidas
Esto explica por qué en programación a veces se siente más rápido y preciso.
Sin embargo, creo que ChatGPT es:
• Más versátil
• Mejor explicando
• Más fácil para principiantes
Entonces, en mi opinión:
👉 Gemini = mejor para programar
👉 ChatGPT = mejor para aprender

cuando vives en un país carecente de oportunidades y de cuentas para operar en IA's de pago ,las opciones gratuitas son las viables para no dejar de crecer y quedarse quieto. Personalmente no me desanima el no poder abarcar más de la cuenta, la IA avanza y nosotros debemos avanzar con ella.
