Die alte Malzfabrik/ The old Malthouse

Dieses Bild entstand wieder in der alten Malzfabrik. Diese "Kessel" sind sehr eindrucksvoll und sind mit den unteren Etagen verbunden. Die Räume hier sind sehr vielseitig und es entstehen immer neue Ideen. Wie man sieht ist die Ausleuchtung des Raumes nicht ganz so einfach, da durch Metall und Fliesen immer wieder Spiegelungen entstehen. Ich habe den Raum indirekt mit lila Licht mittels Taschenlampe ausgeleuchtet. Den giftgrünen Nebel habe ich mit El-wire erzeugt. Durch ein zweites Stativ konnte ich dann das Portrait in die rechte Bildseite bringen. Ich habe mein Model mit meinem Lieblingswerkzeug, dem schwarzen Glasfaserpinsel, ausgeleuchtet.

This picture was taken again in the old malt factory. These "boilers" are very impressive and are connected to the lower floors. The rooms here are very versatile and new ideas are always emerging. As you can see, lighting the room is not so easy, as the metal and tiles always create reflections. I illuminated the room indirectly with purple light using a flashlight. I created the poisonous green fog with El-wire. Using a second tripod, I was then able to move the portrait to the right side of the picture. I illuminated my model with my favorite tool, the black fiberglass brush.

Hier könnt Ihr den Raum bei Tageslicht sehen. Bei meinem ersten Besuch war ich von der Größe überwältigt und habe überlegt, wie ich das Bild gestalte, denn mit war klar, dass ich diesen Raum illuminieren würde. Für Kommentare und Kritik bin ich wie immer offen. Ich freue mich auf Eure Meinung.

Here you can see the room in daylight. On my first visit I was overwhelmed by the size and thought about how to design the picture, because I knew that I would illuminate this room. As always, I am open to comments and criticism. I look forward to your opinion.

WHAT IS LIGHT PAINTING?

Light painting is a unique form of art. The darkness is illuminate by the artist with diverse light sources and light traces are paint into the picture with various light tools. Various techniques are use, such as camera rotation or other movements of the camera during the exposure. The creative possibilities are almost unlimited. All the pictures were taken during one single exposure. Apart from denoising, sharpening, cutting and possibly adjusting the white balance, the pictures are not processed on the computer.
