BREAKING: Shapeshift.io Dumps Tether

Within the last 24 hours, the website www.shapeshift.io (Shapeshift) appears to have stopped all transfers to and from Tether.
Shapeshift is a website that people to convert from one digital currency to another. The advantage it offers over a normal currency exchange, is it doesn't require the person to have an account. Specify what currencies you want to change from and to, and Shapeshift will take care of the rest.
It appears the Shapeshift website did not make an announcement about the removal of Tether currency, and it's not yet known if Tether will return.
