*MY VOICE*

In recent times, I have begun staying religious to a highly rewarding habit; listening to the sound of my own voice(its a little weird at first😂) and communing quite intentionally to my inner self(sometimes in front of a mirror, my silhouette or sweet sweet soliloquy). I wrote this poem to tell a little of what goes on, I hope you like it and try it out💞

MY VOICE

I hear my voice in the silence,
Like rainbow after a rainfall,
Like the calm after a storm.

I hear my voice in the silence,
Free from the chaos of being human,
Free from the stagnancy of being normal.

Me...all by myself
In a place of wander without rest
Of magic lands and secured lives,
Of peace I've learnt to create through time.

I hear my voice in the silence,
Like the stillness of ocean depths,
Like the magnificence of royal sunsets.

I hear my voice in the silence,
My haven that sums up heaven,
Half the sole time I create,
Quite the same time I hear Him,
Clear as dawn, piercing like diamond cuts,
Jaw-dripping yet never familiar just like the sunrise.

I still hear my voice in the silence,
The one place I trust to build my resilience,
To scream courage and curate my happiness,
I still listen to the sound of my smile,
And relish the magic of being me.
