At midnight

Midnight, especially at the New Year. A moment. Where the whole world stops briefly, all looking at the clock, in different time zones. Some of them already in another year, some in the previous year. All sharing that same moment.

Relatively speaking, not all, but a great number of people would do the same thing and acknowledge this one moment, that became so special because we share it all together, regardless of age, culture, country or time zones.

And then, fireworks, to commemorate it and make it more special. Even if it’s just a regular day, another one, like the previous one, and like the next one. To me, I would say, that every day of our life is a special day. Every midnight when it starts.
