My introduction to Hive platform

I am by name of Uwera mary @mariez .A Ugandan by nationality. hailing from east western Uganda between the borders of Rwanda and Uganda, currently living and staying in Kampala the capital city of Uganda.

Me

I am a journalist by profession though I am currently self-employed trying to do what brings money to the table.
I own a gift shop that has art & craft things, house decoration items, and paintings.

I am a wife and a mother of 2 adorable children, a boy-9years and a girl-6years.
My children are the best things that life has ever given me because they are the ones I can call my own.

my family

I love traveling, dancing, reading, adventure, and watching movies.
I love doing anything that gives me happiness and joy.
I can't say that I am a loner but spending time with myself makes me feel at peace.

Well, I have been on the hive platform for some time but was not active until when @jaraumoses encouraged me to start being active again.
I haven't met him in person but we have kept in touch on what's up.
I would like to meet you one-day @jaraumoses because I feel you are one person who is selfless and willing to improve the lives of other people by helping them be better in one way or the other.That inspires me about you,keep going!

Meaning
I am my best supporter, if I can't do good things for myself I will not do them for others and if I focus on myself only I will be selfish which is not a good thing.
It has to start with me to do great things for others.
It's doesn't have to be tomorrow, it has to be today.
I love grabbing opportunities when I can because tomorrow is not promised.

I am glad to be back on this platform and ready to take on the writing challenge.
Writing is another way that helps me feel better.
