A 21-Minute Pencil Sketch & My Lifelong Love for Teddy Bears

My Childhood Companion: The Teddy Bear Story
Since I was a child, I’ve had this unique and enduring love for Teddy Bears! While all my friends were busy playing with their beautiful dolls, I was always found clutching a fluffy teddy bear. I don’t know why, but compared to dolls, these bears always felt so much closer to me—like little friends. ✨
My 21-Minute Escape: Learning to Sketch
I am by no means a professional artist, but whenever I need a moment of peace or find myself with some free time, I love picking up a pencil and drawing. It gives me a sense of deep relaxation. This sketch of a sweet little bear is just one of my small attempts. My skills are still developing, and I know they aren't perfect yet, but the process itself is what matters to me.
Fun Fact: It took me exactly 21 minutes and 45 seconds to complete this sketch—which I think is a bit too long! 😂 But I enjoyed every moment of it.

A Memory that Still Makes Me Smile
While I was drawing this, a fun childhood memory popped into my mind. Whenever I went shopping with my parents, their main goal was always to keep me away from the teddy bear section! They knew that if I even got a glimpse of one, I’d have to bring it home. I was a very stubborn child, and I suppose I still am! 😉

The Grand Wedding Deal: Groom-Sized Teddy!
My love for teddy bears is so strong that I even made a hilarious deal with my sister for my future wedding. I've strictly told her that she has to gift me a groom-sized teddy bear! Why? Because that’s the only size I don’t have yet in my collection! 😂 Maybe my future husband will have to compete with a giant, fluffy rival!

Bringing Him to Life: The Final Details
To finish the sketch, I added pencil shading to make him look soft and fuzzy. Shading is my favorite part because it makes the drawing feel complete.
