Bitcoin and Keeping Up With the Kardashians

Kim Kardashian, star of the popular tv series Keeping Up With The Kardashians, has officially received her first physical bitcoin. The beauty brand entrepreneur and reality T.V personality was a guess at the first “If Only Texas Hold’Em Charity Poker Tournament” when she was given the bitcoin as a physical token. Kim Kardashian took to social media shortly after the event to post a picture of her gift.

The “If Only Texas Hold’Em Charity Poker Tournament” is a charity event hosted by Matthew Roszak, co-founder of Bloq, and co-hosted by Kim’s sisters Khloe Kardashian and Kendall Jenner, and mom Kris Jenner, in Los Angeles to raise funds for City of Hope, a nonprofit clinical research and treatment center for cancer.

Earlier this year we saw Kim Kardashian West's husband, Kanye West, expressing his interest in Bitcoin in multiple interviews including a recent interview with TMZ when he said

"I WANTED TO USE BITCOIN SINCE I SAW HARRIET TUBMAN ON $20 BILL"

Ye also mention Bitcoin in his viral interview with Power 105.1 Charlamagne Tha God.

Kim Kardashian first gained media attention as a friend and stylist of Paris Hilton, but received wider notice after a 2003 sex tape with her former boyfriend Ray J was leaked in 2007. Later that year, she and her family began to appear in the E! reality television series Keeping Up with the Kardashians. The reality series was a big hit and the series has just released it latest and 15th season just 3 days ago. Kim Kardashian is now married to hip hop super star Kanye West and the couple has 3 kids: North, Saith and Chicago West.
