If you are one of those lovely folks who constantly verbally harass someone to show their face and give out their name, congrats! You’re an asshole, end of fucking sentence, period. There is absolutely no reason why you need to know who that person is unless you plan to do some serious damage to their personal lives, that’s it.

It is very understandable why someone is afraid of putting their actual identity online. After all when you have thoughts that go against the norms of society, we have seen people lose their jobs, be physically assaulted, and harassed based on their ideas. I am absolutely in favor of anyone who chooses to remain anonymous online regardless of thoughts and opinions. No person deserves to have their personal lives threatened based on their ideology, and it doesn't lend your argument any more credibility by attaching your identity to them.
