#hasil2020 :: Looking back/Look forward > Progress Update - End Jan 2020

A month into 2020 and it is time to review my progress so far with my goals set for this year as part of the #hasil2020 challenge hosted by davidke20@davidke20 and victoria-bella@victoria-bella.

Here is a recap of my targets for 2020 from my earlier post and my current progress:

STEEM targets

1: To reach 2000 SP by end of November 2020
19 days ago, my SP was: 1,715, including delegated SPs.
Today, my SP is: 1,834, including delegated SPs, much thanks to some nice upvotes from kind whale Steemians. Yay!
Looking at this, in about 3 weeks, I overachieved my 10 SPs a week target. But this was not entirely due to earnings in 2020, I did power up my STEEM collected from 2019.

2: Post at least once everyday
I am happy that I have been posting everyday with 40 posts since January 1, 2020.

Health-for-well-being targets

3: Workout at minimum 2 times a week, 30 minutes each time >> whether on land or in water.
I have been able to workout at minimum twice a week in the first 3 weeks of January, except for this week, my workout was superseded by gardening and house chores activities.

4: Achieve 50K steps every week
My step counts have been good so far in the month of Jan, well above 50K every week, thanks to my Fitbit:

5: Less junkfood
Okay, I had fries in one of my meals in January. I think that is pretty alright? :D
I eat corn and biscuits as snacks and I need to toast some nuts tomorrow.

Hobbies-for-the-soul targets

6: Needlework
I have posted 2 new sewing projects (more like alteration and mending) and am revisiting 1 (or 3) crochet projects from the past. So far so good :)

7: Music - To learn to play the keyboard this year - at the very least, to learn to play 1 song.
I have started exploring some Youtube videos to choose a tutorial of a song that I like and that I can follow. I think I will be going with one of the "easy to learn" tutorials, no notes, just where to place the fingers and when to play :D

8: Art - To get back to my amateur drawing and colouring this year - I am setting myself a target of 1 artwork per half yearly.
I have been occasionally thinking about this and am exploring the type of art that is calling for me :)

9: Baking - I set myself 1 baking every half yearly.
I am exploring some simple cake recipes to bake :)

Conclusion
I think I am on track for most things and am looking forward to achieving them one by one.

There is power in writing things down.

I am grateful for this challenge because for the first time, I am in touch with my goals for the year and am motivated to move myself to work towards my goals. Thank you davideke20@davideke20 and victoria-bella@victoria-bella!

This is also my entry to wakeupkitty@wakeupkitty's CONTEST/CONCURSO: Looking Back/Look Forward 2.33.
