#needleworkmonday :: Happy Easter Bunny egg!

Happy, happy #NeedleWorkMonday beautiful people!!

This week is @foxyspirit's finale Ultimate Crochet Contest with the theme Easter. I couldn't make something fluffy (sorry @foxyspirit) but I made him 👇!

I kind of followed this pattern here: https://amigurumi.today/free-easter-bunny-egg-crochet-pattern/ and made a little adjustment to his ears, and I did not have time to crochet the bunny egg cosy, which is why you see him in a little mug instead 😁.

The pattern is simple, and divided to 2 parts.. (3 if you include the cosy which I had to omit for this post, I probably will do it later with a bit more time). I started off with the egg shape first:

Then, I moved on to stuffing the egg shape:

After the egg shape was done, the fun part of finishing off at the bottom by sewing into the front loops, all around the circle and then, magically, when you pull the yarn, the hole closes!

Then, it was time for the ears...

I sewed the ends to make it folded, to give it a bit more character.

Once the ears were done, I attached the safety eyes onto the egg and then the ears. The eyes were suppose to be done before we stuff the egg but I got ahead of myself and missed this step.

And finally, a quick embroidery of the lips and find the smallest cup that you can find for your bunny egg!

My Actifit Today: April 15 2019

I went to look for my breakfast bar again, and finally found some at a grocery in the mall. I usually crush the breakfast bars as topping for my oats. Then, I detoured to look at H&M and got myself a jersey blouse 😎. The wonders and damages of shopping 😜.
