Boyne Mountain ski resort - My Actifit Report Card: February 22 2026

Hey Actifitters,

For our second ski/snowboarding day, Boyne Mountain, MI was chosen. That wouldn't have been my choice, but based on where we were staying, and where we were driving back at night, it made sense. So I didn't even try arguing. Again, tiny hills with a few ski lifts, they're all kind of the same really.

There is a few good views in this one though.

And we could have a quick late lunch at the small Eagles Nest snack bar at the top of the Disciples 8 chairlift.

Very cool decorations in there, with lots of vintage ski stuff. Pretty sure I have some very old skis somewhere in my hometown, maybe some day I can turn them into great decorations too.

They also have the Skybridge in that resort. That looks cool, but just to cross it is expensive and probably not worth it by itself. Maybe if it's included with a snowshoe and dinner combo.

Overall, I felt like I couldn't really snowboard well, so I ended up staying most of the day on just a few runs to try and get better turns. In the end, that was a lot of runs and a tiring day. It also generated lots of steps. I guess Actifit being only based on motion, it counts lots of steps that my other walking apps don't. But effort-wise, I believe these steps were deserved. And well above the bar for #poprzeczka competition.
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
