Beaujolais Nouveau! - My Actifit Report Card: November 20 2025

Hey Actifitters,

We didn't have enough time for a long walk yesterday but at least we took plenty of short breaks in the yard, unlike the last few days. These are pretty much the last fall colors we have.

Otherwise, most of the trees look completely bare now.

Kaia started with a little greens snack.

That gave her the energy for some zoomies. Knowing she's over 9 years old, it's very cool to see her having so much fun just running around!

Of course, Le Chat looked at this, like she was wondering again why Kaia would waste so much energy.

Before nightfall, we got just enough time for a quick walk into the small forest behind the front yard.

Le Chat followed us this time, I guess she thought hanging out with us was worth burning a few calories.

And we finished the day with the great tradition that is Beaujolais Nouveau. Some people say it's not the best tasting wine, and they might be right, but every year, on the third Thursday in November, we try and take part in the release of this wine. Nothing fancy, charcuterie and cheese and of course bread is all we need to go with our Beaujolais Nouveau.
