My Actifit Report Card: May 23 2024

Hey Actifitters,

Similar kind of day again yesterday, hot during the day and not much activity. For our long walk late afternoon with Kaia, I thought we'd give it yet another try in the forest. Maybe if we could go past the first part of the trails, there'd be less mosquitoes.

Well, it was maybe slightly better but really not much. Kaia who's still struggling apparently kept sitting or lying down as soon as we slowed down. But look around her snout, so many of these damn bloodsuckers. I remember Genepi was swatting at mosquitoes, Kaia seems more passive but that got to be annoying.

So anyways, we rushed through the trail and towards the forest edge again.

Often, we use this side entrance to go back into the forest, but I just didn't have it in me to fight these mosquitoes again.

So we kept walking in the neighborhood where we can see wildlife too.

We actually didn't even need to go far to see wildlife. When we made it back home, we found 3 deer in our front yard, and two more in the backyard. They didn't even leave until I finally unleashed Kaia, and she showed them who owns this yard!

A very weak day stepping wise, and of course the bar is missed for @poprzeczka, but I haven't given up yet for May.
