De Mi Enamorate Cover by June

Hola, Queridos Hivers!

En marco de la celebración del día del amor y la amistad, hoy les traigo un cover del tema romántico que siempre me piden en las noches karaoke, jejeje: De mi enamorate.

Este tema lo conocí hace años gracias a mi mamá que me lo mostró expresándome su deseo de que se la cantara. Me dijo que de sus canciones favoritas, entonces yo me la aprendí y la sorprendí una tarde cantandola.

Años después no se cansa de escucharla, jejeje, así que bueno, decidí compartirla con ustedes este fin de semana pre San Valentín.

El tema habla de un amor no correspondido, creo que todos sabemos lo que se siente, sin embargo la letra en vez de girar entorno a un corazón roto nos muestra ese sentimiento de esperanza de que la situación cambie. Me parece muy bonito y realista. Un genio Juan Gabriel.

In celebration of Valentine's Day, today I bring you a cover of the romantic song that everyone always requests at karaoke nights, hehe: "De mi enamorate" (Fall in Love with Me).

I first heard this song years ago thanks to my mom, who showed it to me and expressed her wish that I sing it for her. She told me it was one of her favorite songs, so I learned it and surprised her one afternoon by singing it.

Years later, she still loves to hear it, hehe, so I decided to share it with you this pre-Valentine's Day weekend.

The song is about unrequited love. I think we all know how it feels, but instead of focusing on a broken heart, the lyrics show us that feeling of hope that the situation will change. I find it very beautiful and realistic. Juan Gabriel was a genius.
