Back to Chemo 5th Cycle.

Hola, queridos Hivers.

Espero se encuentren muy bien ☺️.

El lunes pasado 17 de febrero fue el día de mi consulta mensual para comenzar con mis dos semanas de quimio pero lamentablemente no pude comenzar ya que me salió una Culebrilla en el brazo. Y la doctora me puso tratamiento toda esa semana para eso. Gracias a Dios ya desapareció y estoy bien.

Hoy lunes 24 de febrero si estoy lista para comenzar mis dos semanas de quimio correspondientes al periodo de mantenimiento.

Esta semana empezó muy bien ayer domingo. En la mañana fuimos a misa a agradecer a Dios por todo. En la tarde recibí una linda visita de mi Tía Juana que vino de Puerto Ordaz a Caracas. Fue un rato muy agradable y hermoso. Tenía varios años que no la veía. Me encantó verla de nuevo y que me hiciera reír con sus chistes. Y muchísimo más que me dijera que me veo muy bien. Con eso me siento más que lista para empezar hoy.

Hoy llegamos aquí al Banco Municipal de Sangre para q la doctora me revisara y me dijera si ya podía empezar. Su respuesta fue afirmativa. Así que aquí estoy recibiendo mi tratamiento. Y como hay que estar linda me vine estrenando mi nueva bufanda y guante que me tejí yo misma la semana pasada.

I hope you are all doing well ☺️.

Last Monday, February 17th was the day of my monthly appointment to start my two weeks of chemo. But unfortunately I couldn't start because I got Shingles on my arm. And the doctor gave me treatment for that all week. Thank God it's gone now and I'm fine.

Today, Monday, February 24th, I'm ready to start my two weeks of chemo.

This week started off very well yesterday, Sunday. In the morning we went to mass to thank God for everything. In the afternoon I received a lovely visit from my Aunt Juana who came from Puerto Ordaz to Caracas. It was a very pleasant and beautiful time. I hadn't seen her for several years. I loved seeing her again and having her make me laugh with her jokes. And even more so when she told me that I look great. With that, I feel more than ready to start today.

Today we arrived here at the Municipal Blood Bank so the doctor could examine me and tell me if I could start. Her answer was affirmative. So here I am receiving my treatment. And since I have to look pretty, I came wearing my new scarf and glove that I knitted myself last week.
