On behalf of our daughter, we want to thank every person who has expressed their shock, concern, love and solidarity with our family.

She has been feeling bad since about a month ago. What seemed like exhaustion from work and studies turned into anyone's greatest nightmare: on Thursday April 25th she was diagnosed with leukemia.

She had been hospitalized in Cumaná for three days and when it became apparent that her condition was serious, we were adviced to take her to Caracas where we were told she would received the medical care she needed.

It has been the hardest month in our lives, but we have been showered with love, support, and great healing energy.

@manujune is determined to overcome this obstacle. It's not an easy path and it will take time, resources, patience and faith. She wants to thank all her friends for their support and for those of you who did not know and want to support her in this journey, please find at the bottom the necessary information.

We want to thank the medical personnel of the Hospital Vargas in Caracas for their professionalism and love. Even though the hospital provided a good portion of the treatment for free, daily uncovered tests, staying, supplies, transportation, food expenses (among other things) require considerable resources we just don't have. So far, family and friends' help has allowed us to give @manujune everything she's needed as fast as it's required by doctors, but as doctors say, this is a marathon and this long run requires sacrifices and a supporting web.
