[HOW I SPENT MY CHRISTMAS 🎄]

I was awakened by the sound of knockouts. Guess what, it was a sunny day, everyone was in a good mood, and the atmosphere was bright. I rushed up to wake my parents and siblings, who were still sleeping, and we said a quick prayer before making plans for the day. Following the completion of my portion of the house chores.

I and my friends decided to go play football in a neighboring community, and to our utter surprise, there was a full field lol and people were still trooping in, so we formed 8 teams of 5 people each. That's a total of 40 people. Crazy!!
I returned home around 11 a.m. and found my father untying the goats we planned to slaughter for Christmas. My mother was in the kitchen pounding yam and making Egusi soup, and my sister was doing justice to the dishes. I assisted my father in holding the legs of the goat while he butchered it; I should have been the one doing it, but I'm always afraid of slaughtering animals, so I assisted in holding it while he butchered it.

I was exhausted from not eating anything, so I went to the kitchen and served myself some pounded yam with meat, which I washed down with wine.

It was around 1 p.m. and some of my friends came over to my house just to celebrate with us; it was a joyous moment seeing most of my friends; the last time we were this complete was this time last year, and we were all glad to see each other again. We played a video game (Fifa 21) on my brother's PlayStation 4, and I dominated everyone except my brother, who is always difficult to beat.

We were bored with the game and decided to watch a movie on Netflix. A friend recommended a film (osoufia in London), but we later changed our minds due to the film's graphics. We decided to watch October 1st, and the film was both educational and moving. My mother served pounded yam and goat meat to me and my friends, and my father provided wine. The food was so delicious that I forgot to take pictures, but you should see my friends' happy faces. It was around 5 p.m. and my friends were already on their way home, so I decided to see them off. On my way back, I bought some foodstuffs that I decided to share with some neighbors because it is the season of love, and they were overjoyed because they had not expected it.

I was happy to help in whatever small way I could, and it was all thanks to this wonderful platform and @starstrings01 for his immensely support; without Hive BLOCKCHAIN, I would not have been able to assist.
I was supposed to post this around 8 p.m. that day, but I was dizzy and tipsy lol
I bade my parents goodnight and fell asleep.
