This is probably what certain people call law of attraction but it's basically part of the teaching of our CREATOR which concerns reaping what you sow. Your likes help support whatever that is sown in the hearts of people and they connect back to you. Consider it as an investment, investors of a particular product or company have a share of the profit.
If you don't like something, don't give it a thumbs up, because what you like comes to you. And by the way, it's good that you don't like evil things.
This is quite similar to how YouTube algorithm works. It tries to show you more of what you like or your interests. And also recommend them to people like you. This is why you have to be careful with what you like on youtube, and even in real life.
