Resentment is built up over time to those who miss their obligations. It is that resentment that can lend to losing one's job or even career. We are all at work to punch the clock and make our goals.
If I could pass down one business lesson, it would be to never miss a deadline. If you think you will miss a deadline, get an extension. Senior management will respect you if you do.
That is it. My business lesson to all people out there.
