For many years I had longed and waited

Prayed, wished and gazed upon the stars

I had my hopes up

I never gave up

And then we met

We grew

We blossomed

And life had more meaning

It made sense

We became one

It was just had I wanted

Making memories

Experiencing each other as the days go by

watching time fly

being thankful for the journey so far

My life has been beautiful
