All You Can Eat (AYCE) in Purwokerto

Hi food lovers..

I'm back with a very exciting story about my experience with AYCE restaurant in Purwokerto.

Japanese and Korean AYCE is getting more popular in Indonesia today. Let me mention Hanamasa, or Gyu Kaku, Shabu Hachi. They are 3 big players on AYCE restaurant and of course the taste is satisfying (for me). I really love their taste especially Gyu Kaku, definitely my favorite when i stayed in Bekasi.

Back to Purwokerto, AYCE restaurant is quite rare here. I only find one AYCE here, it's called Gyudaq. It is located in Jl. Kongsen Purwokerto.

Let's visit inside it. Like the other AYCE restaurant, there are stove and grilling pan on every table. The place is quite comfortble with the Indonesian song in Japanese. Let's have a look at the place

Price

They offer 3 kinds of menu package here..

Standard Buffet : Rp. 125.000 (US$ 8.74) + tax / pack
Regular Buffet : Rp. 175.000 (US$ 12.23) + tax / pack
Premium Buffet : Rp. 225.000 (US$ 15.73) + tax / pack

What's the different among them?
It's the "order menu" the called it, it's kinda side menu for us. For Standard Buffet, you can only have ramen and chicken karage/chicken katsu for additional menu. For Regular Buffet, you can have Sirloin, ramen, Gyudon, chicken karage/katsu, seafood etc. And for the Premium one, you can have much more than that.

Meat or sliced beef?
I took Regular Package, so i got sirloin, gyudon, and ramen (i didn't take the katsu). First impression : what a tiny and thin meat 😭 It was not meat anyway, let me call it sliced beef 😆

Ramen or Indomie?

Let's move to the next meal, it sould be Ramen but once again it's dissapointing. It tasted like instant noodle 😆

Tomyum or Sayur Asem?

And finally, the weirdest one..Tomyum 😆 it should be like any other Tomyum but it didn't taste like Tomyum at all. I call it Sayur Asem in Indonesia 😂😂

Finally, i have to say that i can only rate 4 out of 10 for this AYCE Restaurant. I really hope they can improve their taste 😉
