I always have my God by my side

Living and enjoying the World Cup is an experience that covers us all, whether we like the sport or not. The excitement for the matches, the goal shouts, the gatherings to watch the games, is something that is shared in all the countries where the transmission reaches. But living it in a country that participates, and that manages to reach the final, is an experience that goes much further.

In Argentina, the country where I currently live, they "breathe" soccer all year round, so I would expect no less excitement to have their team in the final of the World Cup.

This is how the streets where I go to work have looked since the day they qualified for the final. Every house raised its flag in honor of the players who are giving their all to bring the World Cup to the country. Proud of the performance of their players.

Meanwhile, the almost empty streets indicate that they are waiting for the match to start, ready to cheer their team and celebrate the victory they wish to have.

Vivir y disfrutar de los mundiales del futbol es una experiencia que nos cubre a todos, nos guste o no el deporte. La emoción por los partidos, los gritos de gol, las reuniones para ver los juegos, es algo que se comparte en todos los países a los que llega la transmisión. Pero vivirla en un país que participa, y que logra llegar hasta la final, es una experiencia que va mucho más allá.

En Argentina, país donde vivo actualmente, se "respira" futbol todo el año, así que no esperaría menos emoción por tener a su oncena en la final del mundial.

Así están las calles por donde voy a mi trabajo, desde el día que clasificaron a la final. Cada casa izó la bandera en honor a los jugadores que están dando el todo por el todo para traerle la copa mundial al país. Orgullosos por demás del desempeño de sus jugadores.

Mientras, las calles casi vacías nos indican que están a la expectativa del inicio del partido, preparados para aupar a su equipo y celebrar el triunfo que desean tener.
