Banana bread
One good way to use the over ripe bananas is to make a delicious banana bread. It is very easy to make one, and banana bread is a good and healthy desert, not to mention easy to make.
All you need is 3 or 4 ripe bananas, some melted butter, one cup sugar (or according to taste), one egg beaten, one of each vanilla extract and baking soda, a pinch of salt and one and a half all purpose flour.
Mix the melted butter and the mashed bananas, then mix the sugar with the egg and vanilla extract. Combine and sprinkle baking soda and salt. Add flour and mix. The best part about banana bread is that you can play around with the add ins. You can add some coarsely chopped walnuts, as I did, which will add some extra flavor and healthy fats to the bread, or you can add any other nuts or seasonings, such as cinnamon etc. to it. Grease a 4x8 baking pan and pour the mixture in. For decoration sprinkle some more chopped nuts.
In the oven with it, at 175, for about an hour. Enjoy!
