Our life has a purpose

Each day people wake up for different reasons. Some to chase money and success, others just want to survive and push through another tough day.
No matter the religion or sect we belong to, we all have in common the desire to understand the meaning of life. We all want life to make sense, and we all want to keep living.

Many people have become confused about how life really works, even those who have gained fame and wealth still wonder what the purpose of life is. King Solomon of the bible in all his riches and wisdom still said this: “I have seen all the works that were done under the sun, and look! everything was futile, a chasing after the wind.” (Ecclesiastes 2:11)

So if life doesn't have a deeper meaning everything we achieve would feel empty.

Today modern researchers also say the same thing. From their studies they have come to know that true happiness doesn't come from success or comfortable life, but from feeling that life has meaning.

It's not about what we have or what we have achieved, it's about what we're living for.
Looking at the beauty in nature and all that is in it, the intricate designs of the leaves, the birds, the butterflies, the beauty of the sky, the stars, and how everything was placed properly in it's own place, the human cells, how everything works orderly, I can't help but believe a powerful and caring creator is behind it all. So since we're created on purpose, our lives must have meaning.

So the best way to know about the purpose of life is knowing the creator, the bible teaches that God wants us to live with purpose, to do good, to care about others and most of all, to know him and build a good relationship (Micah 6:8)

So with all this, I am strengthened to face each day even when life seems difficult, I believe in the better future promises by God and I know it'll be fulfilled, so I want to live with purpose now so I can enjoy the better future that has been prepared.

Yes I still work hard, I love creating with my hands because it gives me inner joy, I couldn't have chosen any other career path, I do the things I do with purpose because I know that my life is not an accident and there is a loving Creator.

So let us chase the right things, live everyday with purpose, believe in the hope for a better future and live with the assurance that the creator of our lives has our backs.
