Making and delivering a blue hoodie for a client

A hoodie is one thing I'll always be proud of making anytime, not that I'm not proud of other outfits I've made or make, but because I doubted myself when I was trying to learn it, I wondered if I would be good at it when I do learn it.
Yes, that is because I always thought that since hoodies are sold very expensive in the country that they must all be imported and that it must be made with special machines and good professionals.

Despite the doubts I still searched for how and where to learn it. And with YouTube I made my ever first hoodie and then I somehow found a professional streetwear course and paid for it and today I can say proudly that I make very nice hoodies.

Long story short, I'd like to show you the latest one I made for a client. I met a guy while sitting at my school and he walked up to me, he wondered why I was sitting alone and then we were talking about a few things. So I told him I made street wears and he said he'd like a hoodie. I told him the price, he agreed to it and even though I had other outfits to make I managed to carve out time for his hoodie since he was going back to town two days after that day.

So I went and got a very good quality hoodie fabric. Also he astme to pick whatever colour I want for him so I considered what will suit his skin colour and suitable for men, I thought sky blue was perfect so that's the colour I got.
I came home and laid it out and cut the XXL size for his since he is a plus size man.
These are some photos of my making process.

I cut the hoodie in one night and finished it that night till morning, I think about 3-4 hours.
It looked really nice after I was done making it.
And as usual I felt the big satisfaction that comes with making something with my hands, I was proud of myself.

There are a lot of things I am not good at today and sometimes it puts me down. But I have learnt to focus on the things I can do, and strive to improve in them, and I want to keep working hard to keep learning 'cause really there's no end to learning.

I delivered the hoodie on time to him and he loved it. He said he wasn't expecting it to be that good, he was very happy and I was overjoyed. He went back to his time but we're still communicating. He said he'll soon order an extra hoodie and joggers.

Due to my school stuff I don't really have much time to focus on sewing outfits but I can always make out time for it when I get my clients order.

Thank you all so much for this opportunity to be able to share it here. And I hope you all liked it too. I'm glad I took my bold step to learn and I'm happy for what I'm achieving. See you all next time!
