Day 11 : Your Favorite Childhood Book
Favorite Childhood Book
My childhood was not surrounded by fiction. It was mostly non-fiction and history books. Thanks to my grandfather who had an extensive collection of books from Time Life publisher. Thanks to him, I also grew up to become an avid reader.
On Sunday, I would go to his house and pick one book form his collections. Sometimes, it's a story about world war 1-2, other times it's about ancient history. After reading, my grandfather would buy me an ice cream or cakes. Sometimes, he took me out to practice tennis.
Other than those books from my grandfather's collections, I generally read science experiment books. I was an extremely bored kid and wanted to have constant fun. So, science experiment books were my favorite because it gave me a lot of ideas to play with things around me. When it comes to fiction, I started reading historical fiction in junior high and it continued until today. But yes, my favorite childhood book is anything from Time Life Publisher.
If you want to join this 30 Days blogging with me, feel free to do so ! I'd be happy to have other hivers doing this with me.
