在圖中我們可以討論一個叫做歐拉路徑的東西，而我們行走的路線沿著邊緣從節點移動到節點，在這種情況下，有一條歐拉路徑從A開始以D結束，而四個節點均至少有兩條線。
上圖的節點度數為 2, 4, 2, 4, 2而此圖仍然具有歐拉路徑，但是這條道路有些特別的東西，因路徑是在同一節點上開始與結束的，這是一種特殊的歐拉路徑，叫做Eulerian Tour。
上圖的所有節點均有基數條路徑，而此圖不管你如何走都無法一筆畫將其走完全部節點。
