Good Morning... How has your week been? It is a Monday again. Today, I am going to bring you to a place that is quite new, and a lot of tourists come here for a vacation.

This is the Marina Times Square area here in Miri. This is one of the business hubs here in Miri, and lots of people love coming here as there are lots of new shops. Shell Malaysia's upstream headquarters is located in this area too. This whole area used to be part of the sea but has been reclaimed, and now it is one of the most valuable real estate here in Miri.

During the day, most people are working, so not a lot of people are walking around, but there are especially some tourists walking around here.

Caring Pharmacy

It has just opened two branches here in Miri. So, I am going to check this pharmacy out.

Shu Da Xia

This is a popular place that serves mainly hotpot and it is quite a popular place for lots of locals to eat here as well to celebrate important ocassions.

Shell Malaysia Upstream headquarters

This is the high-rise building that features a modern glass facade here.

The plants here are quite well maintained, as there are gardeners constantly watering the plants as well.

This is also a place where they usually decorate it to cater to different festivals. The best time to come here is during the evening when the weather is a lot cooler. There is always something for everyone who visits this place.

TAKA PATISSERIE

This is one of my favourite places to get

This is a popular bakery that locals love to get their cakes and baked stuff from to satisfy any sugar needs.

They spend a lot of time perfecting their craft. One of the disadvantages is that you are going into this shop with a bag of cakes as you walk out. There are just so many different choices of food. The Chocolate Peppermint looks quite delicious. I usually buy their delicious cheese tarts. Some butter bread as well with buttermilk filling.

So many different types of buns. These are great to eat.

These are freshly baked Taro ( yam ) flavoured cakes. Delicious.
