Potato Head
Otherwise known as the minister for Home affairs and cyber spying is trying to introduce legislation to the Australian parliament today to allow police to demand access to encrypted messages from suspects. There’s only a fortnight left for their year, so it’s unlikely to pas both houses and become law. With typical disregard for civil rights he hasn’t included any checks or balances in these proposed laws. Here’s a pretty picture of some new growth on Banksia trees yesterday.
