This coin has tested the storms time and time again

Litecoin was created by Charlie Lee who branded litecoin as silver to bitcoins gold. This concept was interesting to me. Litecoin is one of the oldest cryptocurrencies still at the top level, it was created in October 2011 so it has been around for almost a decade.

Charlie is a very smart humble and interesting person he was a former engineer for google then went on to work for Coinbase which is one of the biggest crypto exchanges in the world. Litecoin is a lot faster than bitcoin when it comes to transactions and it have four times as many coins. This is a coin for the people because the price of a coin is much less than bitcoin is right now it's at the around 40 dollars.

The market has had it's up's and down's however litecoin is still a top ten crypto it has the ability get through turbulent times so this pandemic that is happening (coronavirus) wouldn't change litecoins position. This coin is here to stay it's not going anywhere it's done almost ten years and I'm sure it'll do another ten.

The volume in this coin is always high and most of the time is higher than xpr (ripple) and bitcoin cash which both have a larger market cap size than litecoin.

The coin is listed on most exchanges around the world and is among the greats of it's time so it's hard to put a stop on this coin many merchants accept litecoin bitcoin and Ethereum.

When the coin was launched it did not have a initial coin offering so it was spread out more evenly and it makes the coin less decentralized which I believe we all want.

Anyway this is why I appreciate litecoin and think it will do big things in the years to come
